今日は本当に生産的な1日で、F1テストを始めるには良いスタートとなりました。
2022年ニューマシンでの初めての船出であり、去年のマシンと比べて明らかに異なっているため、私たちが今回行った全ての作業は今後にとって非常に重要でした。
マイレージ、そしてセットアップに加えた変更も今日のポイントであり、私たちは予定していた事をすべて達成することができました。
まだ試してみる必要のある作業がいくつか見つかりましたが、これまでの状況には今のところ満足しています。
今日の車は本当に信頼性が高く、できるだけ多くのデータを取得する必要がありましたが、それらを実現することができました。
開幕戦まで残り5日間のテストがあります。現時点でマシンはかなり速いように思えますが、バーレーンGP予選までマシンの本当のパフォーマンスはわかりません。
It’s been a really productive day and a good start to testing for the team. This is the first proper outing in the 2022 car, so everything we’ve done has been super important for our learnings, as obviously this car is completely different to last year. Mileage, and also the changes we were making to the set-up, were key today and we managed to achieve everything we wanted to. We found a few things that we still need to play with but we’re happy with how things are going so far. The car has been really reliable today, we needed to get as much data as possible and we’ve managed to do this. We’ve still got five more days of testing to go before the first race, I think currently the car looks quite fast, but we won’t know the true performance of the car until Bahrain Qualifying.
