僕のF1での5年目のシーズンがこれまでの数年間の延長線上にある「常に進歩し続けるシーズン」になることを願っています。さらに磨きをかけてより完成されたドライバーになるつもりです。昨年末までにシーズン初めよりも強いマインドセットとコントロール力を持つようになりました。その後はさらに集中してわずかな差を改善することに取り組みたいと思っています。今年はさらに厳しい戦いになると予想していますがそれらが違いを生みトップ10で戦い続けることができるようになると思います。一歩ずつ進んでいきますが自信は持っています。

I am hoping that my fifth season in F1 will be an extension of how the past years have gone, always making progress. I plan to nail it down even more, to be a more complete driver. By the end of last year, I had a stronger mindset and had more control than at the beginning of the season. After that, I want to be even more focused and work on improving the small margins. That can make the difference and allow us to continue fighting in the top 10, in what I expect to be an even tighter contest this year. I’ll take it step by step, but I’m feeling confident.
